How to use this battery:
1. This battery has it own battery charger, you can charge it from any 110V or 220V AC power source with the included AC charger.
The battery also comes with a Car charger for charging the battery from 12V Car Cigarette lighter.
2. After the battery has been fully charged, set the voltage output of the battery close to your device DC power input requirement which is same as your AC power adapter's DC output voltage. For Most Sony Camcorders, it is 8.4V.
This battery has a switch to set the voltage output at 5V or 8.4V, and it also has a 11V DC output plug. Set the voltage close to your device's DC input requirement
3. Select the right bridge connector:
Included with the battery pack is a universal cable with 8 connector tips that work with most digital cameras/video camcorders on the market.
One of the connectors come with the battery pack will fit E3 and E4 plug tips for Sony Camcorders. First, use this connector as a bridge, install this connector to the output cord like this:

3. Connect the External Battery Pack to your camcorders power input jack (which is the same jack AC power adapter usually plugs into). Now you can power your camcorders from this External Battery Pack .
