1. Locate the hard drive compartment on the left side panel.
2. Pull out the release latch on the hard drive compartment cover.
3. Pull the cover out so that is now becomes a handle.
4. Slide the new hard drive into the notebook, making sure that it is firmly connected.
5. Slide the hard drive release latch to its closed position.
