1. Unplug the ac adapter, if present.
2. Remove the primary battery (and the secondary battery, if present).
3. The Hard Drive compartment is located next to the PCMCIA slots. Remove the hard disk locking screw on the hard drive compartment door.
4. Pull out the hard disk by pushing down on the hard drive compartment door and then slide out hard drive.
5. Slide the new disk drive into the unit and replace the locking screw.
6. Insert the battery
