This DC to DC power adapter can convert 36V DC power range from 25V to 45V to 9v or 12v or 15v or 16v or 18v or 19.5v or 24v DC power . It also has a 5V USB output port.
It can be directly connected to a 36V lithium ion battery with 25V to 45V output voltage range, or any lithium ion battery with output voltage range between 25V to 45V. It can output 5V power from a USB port and 9V/12V/15V/16V/19V/24V DC power at user selection.
This DC to DC power adapter's input side has two 4mm Banana Sockets for easy and flexible connection with batteries and other power source.
The red color is for Positive input and the black color is for Negative/Ground input. It is CRITICAL that the power adapter is connected correctly in polarity
to the power source: Positive on adapter connects to Positive on power source. Negative on adapter connects to Negative on power source. FAILURE TO DO SO MAY RESULT IN SEVERE DAMAGES.
Set DC Output Voltage
This adapter has an output voltage selection switch on side. Please refer to the electronic device you are powering to determine correct voltage. It should be marked on the DC input jack. You may also refer to the manual to determine the proper voltage setting. If there is a discrepancy between the battery chart and the setting marked on your electronic devices, ALWAYS select the voltage close to it. For example, if your laptop DC input requirement is 19.5V, you can set at 19V first, then if it does not work, set at 20V.
Cautions: Please set the output voltage before connecting power adapter to input & output. If you need to change the output voltage, please disconnect the power adapter from both input & output first. Do not change the output voltage when the power adapter is connected to input power source or output device. If the power adapter stops working, disconnect it from both input and output, check if there is anything wrong with the connection. If nothing is wrong, please wait at least 10 seconds. The power adapter has an auto-recovery function which requires 10 seconds or so recovery time. The power adapter should work again if nothing is wrong
5V USB Port:
The additional 5V USB port on the power adapter can be used to charge your cell phone, PDA, iPad/iPhone & more… (USB power cable may not be included.)
Optional connector tips:
The connector on battery output cable is a 5.5 x 2.5mm male barrel connector, which will work many devices. If you need different size connectors, you may order our
C series optional connector tips separately. A C series connector can plug on the battery output cable to form a new connector.
