After plug this connector tip to a 5.5x2.5mm male connector, it converts the 5.5x2.5mm connector to a connector that will work for Dell laptops.

How to use this connector tip?

If you are using this special connector tip with some of our universal batteries or power adapters, you need to find the 5.5/2.5mm standard connector tip that comes with the batteries or power adapters first, plug it to the battery or power adapter output cord:

Special Note: Some Dell laptop BIOS has a special setting: if it detects a non Dell AC power adapter, it will give warning message or refuse to work even the power adapter or external battery will work perfectly with it. You can ignore the message or just disable the warning setting in the BIOS.

This connector physically is exactly same as connector C24. However, C24 is for Compaq and HP laptops, this C27 is for Dell laptops. They are NOT interchangeable.
