5V AC to DC Power Adapter.
This AC to DC power adapter converts 110~240V AC power to 5V DC power with maximum 15 Watt (3 Amps) output capacity.
This power adapter has constant 5V output voltage, but output current is variable. If the output of a power supply is maintained at a constant voltage, then the load's resistance determines the output current. It is Ohm's Law. If a device needs 1A current power, this power adapter will supply 1A current power only, it can not "force" the extra current to flow. 3A (Amps) is not the actual output current of this power adapter, it is just the maximum capacity of this power adapter. Actual output current will depend on the demanding of device it powered. So it will be no problem to use this power adapter to replace any 5V power adapter that maximum current output is less than 3A.
This power adapter has a fixed 4.00mm x 1.70mm connector (Outside Diameter: 4.00mm; Inside Diameter: 1.70mm).
You can change the connector size by choosing an optional connector listed below and plug it on the original fixed connector like this:
